Upon arriving at the nest we saw that the IR and transmitter were getting power (sweet! We tested the voltage of the batteries = 12 volts = check! Somehow power was cut off from the camera and audio encoder via the network switch (we've already replaced the switch once...).
We reset the whole system (by disconnecting the power) with hopes that the camera and audio (still not working properly) would come back online and they did!
